Steuart Hinchliff
Experience and Knowledge of our industry:
Steuart has been working in the renewable industry since 2009 and has been an SAP/Control Person since 2014. Has been authorised under various high voltage safety rule sets including Natural Power, Engie, Becon and BayWa r.e. and most recently HVMS Ltd.
He has extensive experience as a Senior authorised Person / Control Person conducting both reactive and corrective HV Maintenance operations, preparation of switching programmes, preparation and reviewing of risk assessments and method statements and conducing periodic reviews of other SAP’s.
Currently authorised as 33kV SAP/Control Person for HVMS Ltd and other High Voltage Operators whom HVMS Ltd carry’s out sub-contract work for.
Applicable training includes:
Renewable UK/GWO Working at Height & Rescue Training/Fire Safety/Manual Handling/First Aid/Advanced Hub Rescue.
C&G 6037 HV System Operation,
IOSH Managing Safely in Wind
CAT and Genny Training,
Partial Discharge Training,
PPL High Voltage Maintenance.
Lee Williams
Experience and Knowledge of our industry:
Lee has been working in the renewable industry since 2013, starting as a wind turbine service technician moving to Lead Technician and finally Senior Lead Technician. Made a competent person under SSE High Voltage Safety Rules from July 2014 and has held the authorisation of SAP from October 2018. This was first awarded at Wood PLC, then Becon followed by BayWa r.e and finally HVMS Ltd.
He has been an SAP since 2018 but has gained a lot of experience as he’s been working in an HV environment, in and around HV plant and apparatus since 2013. Extensive experience in both reactive and corrective HV Maintenance operations, working at height, creating, reviewing and approving risk assessments and method statements and preparation of switching programmes.
